2021 WHS Senior Car Parade

Saturday, June 5th @ 6pm

Important Information for Participating Seniors

  • One senior per car, one car per family, including the senior.
  • One parent, guardian or sibling over 18yo driving the vehicle.
  • Drivers & passengers must follow the rules of the road at ALL times.
  • Seniors should be lined up and ready to roll by 6pm
  • We highly encourage seniors to decorate their vehicle in order to be eligible for one of three WOW awarded prizes!!! (Vehicles with inappropriate decorations will not be allowed to participate).
  • Participating vehicles should proceed with lights on and hazards flashing.
  • WOW board members will be checking in cars upon entering the SPL for line up.
  • Vehicles will NOT return to the SPL. Once they pass the WHS the second time, cars can proceed to their final destination.
  • HAVE FUN!!!

Important Information for Spectators:

  • Community members, families, and friends are encouraged to line the parade route with signs and pictures celebrating your senior. 
  • Please do not congregate after the completion of the parade.

Parade Route:

  • Exit the Student Parking Lot (SPL) taking a left onto Middlesex Ave and turn right onto Route 62 for a First pass of WHS on drivers left.
  • Proceed straight down Route 62 over Main Street to the Wilmington Middle School
    (3 sets of lights; Main & Rt 62, Chestnut/Deming & Rt 62, Boutwell & Rt 62)
  • Turn around using WMS and West Intermediate driveways out front and return back to WHS using the same route. 
  • The second pass of WHS (now on the passenger side) is the end of the parade. 
  • Please proceed to your final destination upon the second pass of WHS
